[Eg0_054] Ayato & Kecap Tuyul : when we talk about love and happiness

New collaborative album between Ayato and Kecap Tuyul, when we talk about love and happiness , is rather hard to describe. Guitars (electric or acoustic, melodic or noisy, prepared or not) play an important role in it but are also joined by percussion, vinyls, electronic, etc… All tracks were mixed and mastered by Ayato during 2011, using raw guitar improvisations provided by Kecap Tuyul and a few sounds by other contributors : Anton Mobin, C-lya,  Benoît Hixe, Poney Club, Mystified

Description by the artist

Star Wars and Sith-themed project, each of the tracks serve as a soundtrack to scenes taken out from numerous Star Wars books, games, etc. “Valley of Golg” takes the listeners on a journey through a great valley where Sith Kings of the ancient Sith Empire lay buried. “In His Wake Life Dies” depicts a scene in which Visas Marr’s homeworld is destroyed by Darth Nihilus and she is the sole spared soul, accepted by the dreaded Sith Lord as his apprentice. In “Voidstar” listeners explore the prototype Sith battleship which went missing. “Wormholes, Free My Eyes” is about Luke Skywalker facing a deadly Force Storm created by the immense power of Emperor Palpatine in “Dark Empire 1: The Destiny of a Jedi

[Eg0_052] No-Xygen and Mike Radice : From darkness to renaissance

Note from the label : From darkness to renaissance is an epic soundtrack that needs to be listened as a whole to be fully appreciated. Tracks are quite contrasted (including synthetic melodic ambient, drone, percussive ethno-ambient) but the whole is very cohesive and thoughtfully assembled

Introduction by the artists :
The first collaboration album of dark ambient project No-xygen (official myspace page : www.myspace.com/therealnoxygen)  and multi-instrumentalist Mike Radice.
This album was conceived and created between 2010 and 2011 consisted by eight tracks, four by No-xygen and four by Mike Radice back to back.
The title represents the idea of destruction followed by rebirth. As it is in life, is about the struggle to overcome the obstacles of dark times and reborn through them.
The tracks of No-xygen symbolize in a manner the “darkness” part while the tracks of Mike Radice represent the “renaissance” part. The album tends to drag the listener to a journey of transition from darkness to renaissance

[Eg0_050] TGBTS : the tunnel at he end of light

The ghost between the strings is now a somehow defunct project, but some unpublished recordings are still waiting to be released.  So let’s say that The tunnel at the end of the light is his 1st “posthumous” album. It’s made of a single track based on an e-bowed guitar improvisation recorded in 2009 in a rather lo-fi way, and that was slightly mixed / edited / processed in 2010/2011.

[Eg0_049] Mystified : Reduced (remastered)

Reduced was originally released on cd-r in 2006 and is of course out of print. Mystified and eg0cide have decided to give a second life to this album of rather short and diverse field-recording based tracks ranging from dark drone to electroacoustic manipulations (and some rawer field recordings). A captivating sonic trip remastered by Thomas of Mystified himself.

[Eg0_046] Void Devils : Unknown Recordings EP

“Unknown Recordings” is the first EP by a new sound project, Void Devils, about which we know as little as the title suggest. 3 tracks of totally alien soundscapes, abstract and spooky in the same time, made of swirling electronic  textures that draw unpredictable but strongly cohesive structures.
