The ghost between the strings is now a somehow defunct project, but some unpublished recordings are still waiting to be released. So let’s say that The tunnel at the end of the light is his 1st “posthumous” album. It’s made of a single track based on an e-bowed guitar improvisation recorded in 2009 in a rather lo-fi way, and that was slightly mixed / edited / processed in 2010/2011.

Reduced was originally released on cd-r in 2006 and is of course out of print. Mystified and eg0cide have decided to give a second life to this album of rather short and diverse field-recording based tracks ranging from dark drone to electroacoustic manipulations (and some rawer field recordings). A captivating sonic trip remastered by Thomas of Mystified himself.

“Unknown Recordings” is the first EP by a new sound project, Void Devils, about which we know as little as the title suggest. 3 tracks of totally alien soundscapes, abstract and spooky in the same time, made of swirling electronic textures that draw unpredictable but strongly cohesive structures.

You have to be patient when you work with Kecap Tuyul, that’s what CDRX learnt with this new collaborative work. A long watery/nocturnal soundscape was sent to KT back in 2009, and it took him 2 years to complete it with guitar & bass overdubs. A new mail collaboration project has started in spring 2011 between the 2 sound manipulators…

Starting with this release Eg0cide Productions have now a logo, that was carefully designed by AestheseA. They have to be thanked also for their patience and hard work!
Aesthesea is a is a multi-media design project founded in 2009. They focus on:graphic-design, photography, fractal art, sound design, web-design (html, javascript, flash, css, ajax, php). They also run a fine net label.
DMC (or Denis Mac Carty, member of the H.A.K. collective) and Kecap Tilil (one half of the band Pura Sombar) have never met in real life, but when Kecap Tilil heard a mixtape of DMC (using his special turntable and “prepared” records) he felt like to work on it, adding overdubs of different strings & winds instruments and sounds of unknown (to us) origins…
Kecap Tuyul was invited to play live with the Crash Duo (Anton Mobin (prepared chamber, tapes) and Ayato (prepared guitar, tapes)) on september 30, for the Aperaudio show curated by Radio Campus Orléans. This totally improvised session was recorded and the 3 performers found it interesting enough to get a release (no edits have been made), available in wav, flac, ogg and mp3, with artwork by Anton Mobin

Eg0cide welcomes the first official release of Poland-based dark ambient project Sithwomb with a short minimalist and mysterious drone…
Description by the artist : “Sithwomb is a Star Wars-themed experimental dark ambient project, a bit inspired by John Williams and Jeremy Soule, revolving around Sith and Dark Side themes. “Maw” was supposed to be a dark, meditative, contemplative piece – like a Sith Lord meditating on his ship and beholding the Maw – a deadly part of the Star Wars galaxy were numerous black holes dwell.
With special thanks to Suonho”
