Coming after a few releases on H.A.K. Lo-fi Record, Treetrunk and Justnotnormal, TTWOSS ‘s “Danza” is another surprising vortex of improvised electronic sounds. THANATOGUSHI ID (aka Ayato) & THANATOMITSU V.02 (aka Kortane Cortex) kept the PSR48 & DSR2000 Yamaha synths at the core of their equipment, but have also added tapes, vinyls, rythm box (TR606) and radio. Somewehere between old-school industrial, free improvisations & cyber-krautrock, this album is as crazy and surprising as their previous works, but more atmospheric, and with darker undertones (especially in the 2nd half of the album).

We are very glad to welcome the amazing Hunting Rituals on Eg0cide. “Wider Realm” was issued on tape by Cloud Valley 2 years ago and is out of print since a long time. It is now available on CD-R, remastered by the artist and with a new artwork by Eg0cide S.A. (with special thanks to Cédric for the special paper!)
Hunting Rituals is known for his crooked noisy ritual soundscapes with reeds, strings and obscure lo-fi sound manipulations. This album show the quieter side of his work, more ritual, almost meditative. Recommended to fans of early Voice of Eye or Zoviet France, and of course to Hunting Rituals fans (like us) who missed the cassette edition.

For this 3rd business-card CD-R release, Eg0cide welcomes Tzii, a long-time experimental musician / filmaker, and founder of the Night On Earth label. Ethereal and spooky in the same time his ambient piece “Fuga ae f sol e” reminds me early ambient industrial with its vintage synths and mysterious voice. Totally addictive!

Our friend Ayato presents us 2 sides of his works using radios. On Ion Trap, radio sounds are used as background soundscapes for guitar tracks that were recorded live in his homestudio (no overdubs, but using a looper), atmospheric and melancolic melodies, with a “vintage vibe” and some more exeperimental moments with prepared guitar.
Radio Scrap comes as a more exeprimental bonus full-length CD-R, where radio sounds are harsher, more chaotic and proeminent, enhanced with TR606 and prepared tapes, dictaphones, and even balalaika and sanza on 1 track.

The inscrutable and contrarian Tribe of Astronauts wishes to share this very personal collection of soothing sounds for spacefarers, the melodies of which were first transmitted over alien frequencies and intercepted via a particularly sensitive set of silver-mercury tooth fillings. There are so many facets to this international and interstellar collective of sound artists, the nature of which is presently classified TOP SECRET, but which may some day be leaked accidentally on purpose.
This is a concept album. The songs on this collection are in a non-verbal language, and each of them are thematically connected, encompassing a tale that cannot and will not be told. Many of the instruments are held mute as the musicians pantomime their parts, and thus the lushness of the sounds resulting.
Tribe of Astronauts is eternally masked, and our liberating anonymity means our numbers are potentially legion. Maybe you are a member of this tribe. Yes, I think maybe you are. You can demonstrate your kinship by anonymously adding to our growing discography, releasing work under Creative Commons to any netlabel.
Mister Vapor comes back on Eg0cide Production, this time not only with sounds, but with 5 experimental videos. Minimal and psychedelic in the same time, and above all hypnotic like his music.

After a first net release on Silent Season, Crepuscolo (a one-person project based in Mongolia) offered his second opus to Eg0cide productions. There is no disappointment with this new album of deep organic ambient blended with cold, surgical, electronics.
“Man dies, only genetics never die” consists of 3 tracks based on enigmatic shifting drones, whose hypnotic qualities are sometimes enhanced by a discreet, muffled – almost subliminal- beat. The overall sound is highly abstract and experimental, without any predictable structure, but with a great sense of dramatic tension. The only minus we could found in this album is its short lenghth : we are waiting for more!

Eg0cide is glad that The Murk has gained attention by experimental/ambient composer Kurt Nimmo aka Fosel : he offered us not only a great remix of this Digital Mass track, but a full album of mysterious, spacious soundscapes.
